Clíona Donnelly

Clíona is an arts professional with a wealth of experience and contacts specialising in fundraising and development. Her first experience of the arts sector was in the newly established development department of the Abbey Theatre in 2008 before moving back to Belfast to take up the position of General Manager with Northern Ireland Opera in 2011. In this role Clíona developed her fundraising skills while managing large-scale productions and events.

Since starting Rossmore Consulting in 2023 Clíona has worked with a wide range of arts and culture organisations, generating income and developing projects and partnerships.​ She joined Tinderbox Theatre Company in March 2025 as Development Manager for a fixed-term contract to secure core funding, and was Interim General Manager of the Belfast Philharmonic Society during their 150th anniversary season in 2024-25.

Clíona is currently a Trustee of White Ribbon NI and is proud to support this vital work. She is also a member of the NI Boys' Impact Hub which is tackling the persistent underachievement of boys in education. Clíona is a previous mentor with The Kings's Trust and Queen's University, and was awarded a BEM for services to music and young people in 2018.

Alice Kennelly

Alice is an arts producer with over thirty-five years international experience working in the cultural industries. She spent many years in London, mainly at Sadler's Wells, working on international seasons of contemporary dance, ballet, opera and theatre.  As a consultant, Alice  worked on projects at the National Theatre, Royal Court Theatre, National Gallery, Tate Gallery and on the BBCs Young Musician of the Year.  She was also Press Officer for the Costa Book Awards for three years.

 

Alice has won a number of industry awards for her work, including a Critics Circle Award when at Sadler's Wells.  She has served on a number of boards and committees including: Contemporary Arts Society (London); National Youth Music Theatre (London); Performing Arts Forum (Dublin) and the Galway Print Studio. She is presently a Board member of Northern Attitudes Dance Company (Belfast).

Alice was General Manager and then CEO and Artistic Producer of Island Theatre Company Limerick for seven years.

 

In Belfast she has worked with the c21 Theatre Company, Outburst Arts and The Big Belfast Choir. She has also contributed to the Programming Committee of the Imagine Festival and has been a mentor for Future Screens NI at Queens University.

 

In 2023 Alice joined National Youth Choir Northern Ireland, as CEO, where she stayed for two years before joining Cliona Donnelly at Rossmore Consulting.

 

Alice has a Masters in Arts Management & Cultural Policy from Queens University and  is an Assessor for Arts Council of Ireland (26/27).
